What is the Pinhole Surgical Technique™?

The Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST)  is a revolutionary new procedure for treating gum recession . It is a sophisticated way to move receding gingiva back into place without grafting surgery.

Dr. Nemeth was the first periodontist in Michigan to be trained and certified to perform the Pinhole Surgical Technique. This breakthrough treatment often eliminates the need for incisions, suturing, and downtime of traditional gingival grafting.  It offers a number of advantages for the patient and could be the difference between possible tooth loss and continuing discomfort or tooth retention, comfort, and improved appearance.

“Hi Joe,

It has been a remarkable year for the Pinhole procedure for many reasons. One of the main reasons is that there are still visionary leaders in Periodontics like yourself who are ready and willing to advocate an innovation that would better serve patients and periodontists well into the future.

I am grateful that the Pinhole procedure has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know you. You and your close-knit group of the finest clinicians in periodontics truly speaks well of your specialty and of the profession of dentistry.

With the warmest of regards,

-John Chao, DDS- The Inventor of the Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation Procedure
