Available in our office we have the dental i-Cat CT scan, which provides our doctors with high resolution, volumetric images of the patient’s bone and tooth structure.
The i-Cat machine allows our periodontal doctors an improved ability to accurately predict surgical outcomes. This technology is very useful for our implant practice as it collects precise data and measurements such as buccolingual dimensions, concavities and bone height. This makes it easier to perfectly position the implants.
This technology dramatically advances patient care. With the typical scan being only 8.9 seconds, patients are merely seconds away from an improved diagnosis. I-Cat 3-D images are anatomically accurate and allow the doctor to image patients in a true one-to-one size which not only improves diagnosis, but also treatment results.
