Amar Katranji, D.D.S., M.S., is a specialist in periodontics with emphasis on dental implantology and advanced grafting.  Born and raised in Michigan, he is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he is a Member of the Dean’s Faculty in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine. He is fluent in Arabic.

Dr. Katranji is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds membership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the American and Michigan Dental Associations.  Dedicated to research as well as to practice and education, his work has been published in prestigious professional journals. He is also the founder and director of a local implant study group.

During his free time, Dr. Katranji enjoys spending time with his wife, his two sons, and his family who live nearby. He also likes to play golf and basketball with his friends.
